Tara doesn’t waste time. When she was age 24, she started a small business empire: a boutique cafe (which ended up in Metro’s top 50) with a vintage clothing store in the basement and a side business producing natural milkshake syrup (which she sold to other cafes).

After she exited the cafe business at age 27, she gained her economics degree, while at the same time working at NZ building materials enterprise, James Hardie. This was where her Salesforce journey began, when she was nabbed from the customer service team and thrown in the deep end as their Salesforce Administrator. In that role, Tara was lucky enough to work across a broad spectrum of internal Salesforce projects, form sales and service, to analytics and marketing automation.

Tara joined LavaBox as a Functional Consultant to expand her Salesforce knowledge and exposure. Never one to stand still, she’s developed strong experience taking a leading role on projects across a wide range of industries, including Government, Consumer Electronics, Professional Services and Community Organisations.

Clients enjoy working with Tara because of her unique blend of commercial acumen, technical capability, data-driven insights and dynamic energy. This combination results in some truly high impact solutions.

When Tara’s not drinking the Salesforce kool aid, she’s drinking a glass of ice cold beer or a smooth long black (did we mention she still consults to cafe business owners in her spare time?).
