Senior Project Manager - CRM


We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager that's adept at keeping multiple technology projects on track in a fast-paced consulting environment. 

LavaBox is a business and technology consultancy that helps make digital transformation a reality for aspirational organisations. Working within our Salesforce CRM Commercial Team, you’ll leverage your project and stakeholder management skills to ensure your engagements hit their milestones and meet their objectives.  

The role:

You’ll work alongside a talented team of Salesforce Consultants, Developers and Business Architects to implement impactful CRM solutions for some of New Zealand’s most exciting hyper-growth companies and leading corporate organisations.

With a proven track record delivering CRM and technology solutions, you’ll know how to keep client stakeholders and your consulting team aligned throughout the IT project lifecycle. 

Your organisational skills will keep consultants working in rhythm. Comfortable working with a range of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), you’ll manage your projects' planning, requirements, tasks, budgets, stakeholders, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies. Ultimately, you’ll ensure LavaBox clients receive an exceptional project experience and impactful business outcomes. 

With a background in business analysis and process improvement, you’ll also be able to optimise and improve LavaBox’s internal project management systems and processes.

  • Leveraging software development methodologies - with an understanding of when and how to use them (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) 

  • Stakeholder management - with polished written and verbal communication that keeps expectations aligned and deliverables front-and-centre 

  • Embedding project management best-practices - with a focus on improving internal project management systems and processes 

  • Fostering a supportive and cohesive culture - providing thoughtful guidance, removing blockers and helping teams organise their time and skills to achieve high-impact outcomes  

  • Thriving in a fast-paced consulting environment - able to bring order and clarity to client and consulting teams 

Experience & Qualifications


  • At least 4 years experience managing technology projects with a particular focus on CRM (Salesforce Platform, Dynamics365, Marketing Automation, Integration, Data Insights, Business Process Improvement) 


  • Project management certifications (i.e. Prince2, PMI, Agile, SCRUM)

  • Prior experience in Business Analysis roles 

  • A relevant IT or Business tertiary qualification

  • CRM certifications (i.e. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics365)
