CRM Technical Consultant


LavaBox is a business and technology consultancy that’s on a mission to help make digital transformation a reality for aspirational organisations.

We’re looking for an experienced CRM Technical Consultant who knows how to align business processes, data and applications to solve complex business problems. You’ll work on high impact transformation projects alongside a talented team of consultants and developers.

Ideally, your CRM experience be with Salesforce’s technology, however we’re open to cross-training exceptional candidates who have experience on other Enterprise CRM platforms (Microsoft, Oracle, etc).

The Role 

Technical CRM Solutions 

With solution architecture sensibilities, you’ll support the design and development of innovative business applications. You’ll have strong experience working with declarative CRM tools, the ability to read and write code (java and SQL), and an understanding of integration and application architecture.


Although you’ll be supported by lead consultants, engaging directly with a client’s internal project team is something you’re comfortable with. You’ll be great at bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders, and communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.

Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS) - (preferable, not essential) 

LavaBox partners with leading integration platforms (MuleSoft, Jitterbit) to connect Salesforce to other critical business systems. Ideally you’ll have experience working with IPaaS to get data flowing between multiple APIs and databases, with the ability to build operations to map and transform data from source to target.

Experience & Qualifications:

You’ll definitely have:

  • 2+ Years working with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform

  • Salesforce or comparable certifications, preferably developer-focused 

Although not essential, it would be great if you have experience with:

  • Apex, Visualforce & Lightning Components 

  • Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS)

  • Java (read / write)

  • SQL database development

  • An IT tertiary qualification
